Surprisingly different and unique!

660ml from our Mexican friend, ITA (Imperial Tequila Ale), is a strong ale aged in tequila barrels from Cerveceria Minerva.

It is a crystal clear golden ale with a citrus aroma, that leaves a small frothy head when poured. There is a strong hops taste that comes to play first, followed with the malts and a little bit of oak (from the barrels). The tequila taste blends in with the light malty nature of this beer and adds to its fruity taste.

This beer is for adventurous palates that aren’t afraid to spend a bit more to savour new flavours and textures of beer.
